Required documents

1. International Passport
Containing 2 blank pages, with a validity of at least 6 months from the date of application to the consulate.
2. Application Form
We will fill this out based on the questionnaire.
3. Visa History
Original of the previous international passport if it contains any previously issued Chinese visas.
4. Photos (2 pcs.)
Dimensions 3.5x4.5 cm, color, on a white background, on matte paper, taken within the last 6 months.
5. Medical Insurance Policy
Copy and original, valid for the entire duration of the stay.

For children under 18 years additionally:
8. Copy of Birth Certificate.
9. Copy of Consent for Child's Travel
in case the child is traveling without parents or accompanied by a third party. If the child is traveling with one parent, consent from the non-traveling parent is not required.
10. Copies of Parents' Civil Passports
first page with basic information and page with registration.
11. If the child is traveling independently or with a companion,
a sponsorship letter from one of the parents must be provided, along with the original bank statement of the sponsor, and a copy of the sponsor's passport (first page).
12. Schoolchildren and students
must provide a letter from their educational institution, a copy of their student ID, as well as a sponsorship letter, the original bank statement of the sponsor, and a copy of the sponsor's passport (first page). (Close relatives can be sponsors.)
13. If a minor applicant is listed in a parent's passport,
they are included in the parent's visa. In this case, the full amount of the consular fee for the child is charged.
14. Citizens of the Russian Federation, whose place of birth is indicated as:
Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Syria, must provide additional documents.
15. Employment Certificate,
indicating position and salary. For pensioners – a copy of the pension certificate. For individual entrepreneurs – copies of the taxpayer identification number (TIN) and the state registration certificate.
16. Statement from the personal bank account or bank card,
or a sponsorship letter (sponsors may be close relatives) and documents from the sponsor.
17. Copy of the Birth Certificate,
in Russian or with a translation into Russian.
18. Certificate of No Criminal Record.
Notes:
  • Documents must be submitted in originals.
  • The Consulate of the People's Republic of China does not accept visa applications from citizens of Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Syria. Citizens of these countries must obtain a Chinese visa in their home country.
  • Issuance of single-entry and double-entry tourist visas is possible.
  • Processing time is 6 working days.
  • The embassy reserves the right to request additional documents, extend processing times, and invite the applicant for an interview.
  • Factors determining the issuance of a visa to China include: a complete set of truthful documents; financial solvency; a legitimate purpose of visit; absence of a criminal record and visa violations.
